Maumee Holiday Lights Parade

SERVPRO of Southwest Toledo was a proud participant in the Maumee Holiday Lights Parade 2016! This year our Holiday theme was A Charlie Brown Christmas which included characters such as Snoopy and Woodstock , Lucy in Her psychiatric help booth, Schroeder playing the piano, Pigpen and his blanket, The lovely Peppermint Patty Just to name a few.  Our very talented Michael Dario  drew out all of the characters by hand and our lovely ladies Salesa, Heather and Sheila along with their children, painted them and brought them to life. It was a great night for all of our employees and their families to get together and pass out candy to the kiddies! We are very proud of our float and we love participating in such a great holiday tradition.

November contest Winner

First I would like to say thank you to everyone who took the time to participate in our Contest this Month! This Month as I was making my rounds I decided it would be fun to see how much our Insurance Offices actually know about us. I put together a little quiz and dropped one off to each agency. I figured it would be something fun that the office staff could do in their down time. When they answered all the questions they then just had to Email me their Answers. If they got them all right they then got an entry to win a personal care basket that we put together. This basket was chucked full of some pretty cool stuff, everything from hair care products to bubble baths, cold medicine, and even some smell goods! What a great response we had!  The winner of our November Contest is Terri Sutton from American Family Insurance! It was my pleasure to drop off the prize basket to her this morning! Congratulations Terri

Firefighters Feather Party

Firefighter themed gift basket

Have you ever thought about all that our local fire departments do for us on a daily basis. These men and women put their lives on the line every day to keep our community safe and many of the smaller communities it is a volunteer fire department. We here at SERVPRO are always actively looking for ways to give back to our community. Recently we learned of a local volunteer fire department that was having a feather party to help raise money to help support their department. We contacted the department and asked how we could help. They asked if we would be willing to donate some sort of gift basket to auction off at their feather party. We thought it would be nice to put together a "Movie Night" basket to donate to their silent auction! We put in three "Fire themed “Movies Popcorn, Beef Sticks, Candy, and Soda and a few other goodies.  We then hand delivered it to the station before their fundraiser. They loved the basket. Sometimes it feels great to let our hometown heroes know they are appreciated.
