Water Under Kitchen Island

This kitchen had a dishwasher malfunction and grain all over this beautiful kitchen floor. The homeowner was able to clean it up fairly quickly. Unfortunately after a day the floor board started to warp. At that point she called in SERVPRO of southwest Toledo for some advise. when we arrived we took some meter readings of the floor as well as the cabinets and the island. The floor was wet and the water had traveled under the Island. We then explained our process to the homeowner and assured her that everything was going to be alright. By removing the Island, the wet flooring and the vapor barrier under it we were then able to dry out the sub floor and the island. She was very pleased with the outcome
